Art history students in Dr. Childs's Van Gogh seminar will lead live audio description tours of the Van Gogh paintings at the Saint Louis Art Museum (SLAM) this December. These students received audio description training from MindsEye, a Belleville, Illinois, nonprofit organization that strives to build a more inclusive community by translating vision into audio. The tours, especially provided to serve visually impaired visitors, will take place from 4–5 pm CST on both Dec. 6 and Dec. 13th. The tours will start at SLAM'S Sculpture Hall welcome desk, and no reservations are required.
