Dr. Lindsay Sheedy (PhD, December 2021) recently started a new role as Grants Manager for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center (JMKAC). Located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, JMKAC has served as a champion of arts and culture in the Midwest and beyond since its inception in 1967, with a focus on self-taught artists and artist-built environments. A born and raised Wisconsinite, Lindsay is excited to step into a position that aligns her art historical training and professional grant writing experiences at an institution that is both locally rooted and internationally renowned. In her role as Grants Manager, Lindsay will serve as JMKAC's head grant writer and primary steward of relationships with local, regional, and national foundations dedicated to supporting the arts, education, and preservation through grant funding.
