Dr. Nicola Aravecchia, invited by Dr. Darlene Brooks Hedstrom (Chair of the Department of Classical and Early Mediterranean Studies at Brandeis University), presented at Brandeis University on February 14, sharing groundbreaking discoveries from two sites in Egypt’s Dakhla Oasis. His work highlights early Christian places of worship dating back to the 4th century CE, including some of the earliest churches in Egypt.
