Any student who has served as an MTE in the spring or fall semester of 2022, or taught a summer school course in the summer of 2022 in which you were instructor of record is eligible to apply for one of the two following teaching prizes:

1. The Pollard-Stein teaching prize(s), administer by the Department of Art History and Archaeology

2. The Dean's Award for Teaching Excellent, administered by the Arts and Sciences Office of Graduate Studies. Our department can make two nominiations for this Arts and Sciences-wide prize.

To be eligible for consideration, please prepare a small dossier, which should include:

1. Your CV, including a list of courses for which you have served as a MTE (identifying both when, which instructor, and which course) and any course for which you were instructor of record. 

2. A compilation of the student evaluations for the sections in the classes for which you served as a MTE (Note: You must include ALL of the evaluations you received for ALL of the classes for which you taught sections, not just those that reflect favorably upon your teaching).

3. A brief teaching statement (one to two paragraphs) outlining the perspective and values you endeavor to bring to your class sessions, and how you approach your role as a mentor, grader, and advocate for your students.
