Graduate Seminar: Methods in Art History

ART HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY 510

The purpose of this seminar is to introduce graduate students to some of the most important methodological approaches to the study of works of art. Students will acquire an enhanced understanding of these methods in historical terms, as well as insight into how they can be applied in the research questions posed by art historians today. The course may include guest presentations by a range of faculty in the Department. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in Art History and Archaeology.
