Sarah Weinman

Sarah Weinman has been the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Art History & Archaeology since June of 2018.
She earned a B.A. in Art History from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an M.A. in Art History from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Her thesis focused on the 14th-century Angers Apocalypse Tapestries, created for the Duc D’Anjou, which depict scenes from the Book of Revelation. In graduate school she was a Teaching Assistant for Intro to Art History I (Ancient to Medieval) and II (Renaissance to Contemporary). She also worked in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures as a Teaching Assistant for Grimm’s Fairy Tales. She’s excited to be in an academic environment again and to work with faculty and students.
For fun, she attends a weekly writers’ critique group and writes novels. She also loves to travel. Recent international trips include France, England, Germany, The Netherlands, Israel, and Jordan.
