Lindsay Sheedy

Lindsay is a PhD candidate in the department. Her dissertation examines developments in religious polychrome sculpture in the Kingdom of Naples during the Spanish viceroyalty (1503-1714). Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Lindsay earned her BA from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2012 and her MA from WashU in 2016, for which she completed a thesis on Michelangelo’s Bruges Madonna. She is also a proud former member of WashU’s The Writing Center, where she held a graduate fellowship from 2018 to 2020. In her limited free time, Lindsay writes, records, and produces episodes for her podcast, Stuff about Things: An Art History Podcast.
