James Anno (PhD Spring 2017) assumed his new position at the Capodimonte in Naples Italy, where he will oversee and help promote the collections of 15th and 16th century Italian art. Dr. Anno worked with Professor William Wallace on a dissertation on Michelangelo. His position at the Capodimonte is supported by the American Friends of Capodimonte. Anno will also be involved with writing didactic materials at the museum. His appointment received notices in two city editions of national newspapers. With Anno are his wife and two young children, who are attending Italian schools.
